10K TRAIL RACE (16yrs and over)
An undulating course over tracks,
paths and a short section of moorland in the beautiful landscape
surrounding Bowes and the Greta Valley. Start 1.30pm. Trophies for winners
and other prizes kindly donated by The Co-op and Tesco.
4K FUN RUN
(8yrs-16yrs)
An undulating course over tracks, trails and paths in the
beautiful surroundings of the Greta Valley. Trophies for local/open, under
12/under 17, boy/girl categories, most improved and family awards;
t-shirts and medals for all competitors. Meet at the main entrance at
1.25pm. This race has kindly been sponsored by Aggregate Industries UK
Ltd.
500M CHILDREN’S DASH (under 8yrs)
Around a field adjacent
to ‘The Parks’. Trophies for local/open, under 5/under 8, boy/girl
categories; t-shirts and medals for all competitors. Meet at the main
entrance at 1.25pm. This race has kindly been sponsored by Aggregate
Industries UK Ltd.
12K CYCLE RACE
An undulating course over
tracks, paths and a short section of moorland in the beautiful landscape
surrounding Bowes and the Greta Valley. 54 Degrees North have kindly
donated to this race.
• Seniors (17yrs and over) Men’s and ladies’
races. Trophies for winners and other prizes. Meet at main entrance at
1.25pm.
• Juniors (12-16yrs) Boys’ and girls’ races. Trophies for
winners, medals for all competitors. Meet at main entrance at 1.25pm.
Entry Fees:
10k trail race and 12k senior cycle race
£6 in
advance including entry onto the show field
£7 on show day, £5
admission at the gate + £2 entry fee payable at head secretary’s marquee
4k fun run and 12k junior cycle race
£3 in advance including entry onto
the show field
£4 on show day, £2 admission onto field + £2 entry fee
payable at head secretary’s marquee 500m children’s dash –

Children under 5

under the age of eight must be accompanied by an adult.
